The Pakistan Pavilion featured some of the rich cultural artefacts of the country's leading artisans, and brought the atmosphere of a carpet bazaar with it's large number of traditional carpets - both for display as well as for sale.

People were greeted to the Pavilion by the
Guiness Book of Records, World's Tallest Man - from Pakistan - who had photos taken with him, signed cheerfully guest's Expo Passports and generally was an all round 'nice guy.'

He also gained a following at the Exposition in Seville in 1992 and in South Korea (Taejon Expo '93) in 1993.
